Today I have shared with you a verse from Psalm 56:11, and I want you to use it as an affirmation. I want you to take a moment and declare out loud the following:
In God I trust; I will not fear.
__________
Repeat the above Scripture/affirmation to yourself and out loud as often as you need to. In fact, do it every single time that fear (concerning whatever it is that you are dealing with) creeps up in your mind.
I need you to know that fear is of the enemy (Satan). For the Bible says that God did not give us a spirit of fear... (2 Timothy 1:7). And so, we have to rebuke that spirit in the name of Jesus.
I want you to trust God with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Let me remind you that God is our creator. He made us all, and He knows what is best for us. We have to understand that what we think is best for us is not always what is best for us, regardless of how good it appears.
If you only knew how many things I have wanted throughout my life, that I thought was best for me, and they did not turn out good. I did not get what I wanted.
I found out later that God did not allow those things, for example, relationships, to work out because those men were not good for me and were not who He (God) wanted for me.
God did not choose them, I did. And so, because God did not ordain those relationships, He did not allow them to work out. And today, I thank Him for it. I am sooooo glad. Amen.
Friends and family, believe me when I tell you that God knows what is best for us. He has written all the days of our lives (Psalm 139:16), and He knows what lies ahead for us.
God knows what door we should go through and what door we should not go through, and for this reason, often times, He do not allow us to, for example, get the job that we applied for and wanted so badly. It is because God did not want us there for whatever reason. It could be that is not where He wanted to plant us, or He could be saving us from something.
Put all of your trust in God... and pray!
Be encouraged. God loves you.
Love and peace,
