Scripture; 2 Peter 1:3-5 (New Language Translation):
3. By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. 4. And because of His glory and excellence, He has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires. 5. In view of all of this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises…

As a child of God… As a friend of God, it is important that you follow the instructions that He gives you (*obedience) because not only will it lead to spiritual growth and maturity in Christ, but it will also eventually lead you right to all that God has promised you.
You must be intentional about staying on the right path, the God path, as well as you have to be intentional about not letting Satan distract you and take you off course, which is always his plan and goal. And you can do the latter by staying vigilant and alert. You also must be cognizant of Satan’s schemes and the tactics that he uses to pull you away from God and distract you from the things of God/ what God has instructed you to do/ What God has called you to do.
Here is my testimony for today, 3.2.2024, regarding this:
Let me start by saying that a few days ago, while in prayer, God instructed me to start blogging again. He specifically instructed me to blog daily and I remember thinking to myself, what would I possibly have to say/write about in a blog every single day. And then God told me that He would always give me what to say/the topics for my blog (and so far, God has done exactly what He said). I then questioned God and asked Him why He would have me blog, and every day at that, when I do not have an audience. To-date, God still has not answered me regarding that (Lol), but I obeyed God’s command because I know for certain (knowing God like I do) that He has a purpose for why I should all of a sudden start blogging again, after not doing so in about two years.
Anyway, let me mention that whenever I am at my computer creating my content for my blog (so that I can publish it and post it) I consider that sacred time. That is my time alone with God and I must be intentional about not letting anything interfere with that time. It is because during that time, God is guiding me so that I can produce work/a message that will minister to someone and encourage them. We know that Satan does not want that, and he would do anything to stop that from happening.
So today, as I am blogging, in complete quiet time (silence), with just me and God, Satan did everything he could to distract me, and it was so obvious that at one point I laughed out loud. I had to because it was funny to me. It humored me about the extent that Satan would go to interfere and distract me (and try to steal my peace) when He know that I am about my Father’s (God's) business. But guess what? I stayed focused and successfully completed my blog.
My message to you: Be intentional about being obedient to what God tells you to do. Be intentional about staying on the path that God has set out for you (He orders our steps). And lastly, be intentional about not letting Satan distract you because Satan wants more than anything to keep you from all that God has promised you.
I pray that you have an encounter with God that changes your life. Be encouraged!
God loves you.
Love and peace,

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. -James 4:7
For we are [God’s] workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. – Ephesians 2:10 (KJV)
