On 5/22/2024 at approximately 2:30am, I was awakened by the moonlight shining on me like that of the light from the sun shining at its peak.
Like, before I knew that it was the moon's light, I honestly had thought that someone was shining the brightest flashlight directly on me. I even felt the heat from the rays of the moonlight on my arm. No kidding! And I did not even mention that the wall next to my bed, the area of it right next to where I was asleep (I was asleep faced in that direction) looked as if someone had a high beam industrial or emergency storm flashlight pointed at it. That is how bright that part of my wall was lit up.
When I turned around toward my window and realized that it was the moon's light and not a flashlight, I was amazed! I really was. I was also amazed at how big and bright and beautiful the moon was. I never knew that the moon could shine so bright... like the sun.
After I stared at the moon in awe for a little while, I then prayed. I thanked God for His glory, because the moon and everything else that God created reflects His glory, the glory of His creation.
After I finished praying and I opened my eyes, I stared back at the moon for about two minutes as it still shined on me, and then I looked around my room and realized that the moon could have shined/lit up so many other areas, and yet, it chose me. It chose the area right where I slept, and it shined directly on me. What is also very important for me to mention is that I know that God wanted me to awaken at that moment to witness His love and glory that He shined on me. I am certain about that, and I meditated on this for a while and then I thanked God for shining His glory on me.
And guess what? Would you believe that today, 5/23/2024, I woke up at about 3:50am to the very same thing?! Yessss! The moon's light was shining on me again, and once again, after I stared it for a little while, admiring its beauty, I thanked God and I prayed.
I then stared at the moon for a little while again, and I realized that today, it was a little bigger than yesterday's moon. It was bigger than I have ever seen the moon. And also, after a while, as it moved further away from my view, it took on sort of an orange-pinkish hue. It was gorgeous.
Amen. I just wanted to share this experience with you.
God loves you.
Love and peace,
