In today's Blog Post, I have shared a great story which I saw on Facebook (posted by Simon Bartholome), and I shared it on my Facebook page as well (page name: Yolanda Billingslea).
The story really touched my heart. The part of the story where I bolded the text, that is the part that spoke to me and stood out to me the most, because my dream has always been that we would want to see each other win and that we would help each other win (if we are in a position to do so), as opposed to being jealous and sabotaging. I know how it feels to be on the receiving end of it.
People being jealous of me (threatened by my potential is only one of the reasons) and trying to sabotage me, for the most part, is something that I have experienced a lot in my life, to-date, where no one in my life, outside of my mother and my grandmother (may she rest in peace and power), has ever wanted to see me win.
Yes indeed. There are countless people who just do not want to see me succeed. They do not want to see me succeed and they do not want to see me happy, to the extent that they have tried (and are still trying) everything that they can to prevent my success and happiness by trying to end my life. I have already shared some of that story in earlier Blog Posts as well as in my Facebook posts dated, March 31, 2024.
But yeah... People actually want to see me dead instead of wanting to see me be successful. So drastic, but so true.
It's like what Diddy said in the song, "Mo Money Mo Problems":
"I know you'd rather see me die than see me fly."
I can certainly relate. BUT... God got me, AND no enemy/no hater/no devil in hell can stop what God has planned for me and what He has ordained for my life. Amen!
Meanwhile, the fact that folks don't want to see me win is heartbreaking to me because, anyone who knows me knows that I have always wanted to see others win and I have helped others in whatever way that I was able to, to win and to be better. This has always been my nature, my spirit, and my character.
My mother once told me to never let people change me, and I will not. I still want to see others win and will help them if I can. It's the God in me.
Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy the story below and I hope that it inspires you to help others win.

"Remember this Kenyan runner Abel Mutai who was just a few feet from the finish line, but became confused with the signage and stopped, thinking he had completed the race.
A Spanish runner, Ivan Fernandez, was right behind him and, realizing what was happening, started shouting at the Kenyan to continue running. Mutai didn't know Spanish and didn't understand. Realizing what was taking place, Fernandez pushed Mutai to victory.
A journalist asked Ivan, "Why did you do that?" Ivan replied, "My dream is that someday we can have a kind of community life where we push and help each other to win."
The journalist insisted, "But why did you let the Kenyan win?" Ivan replied, "I didn't let him win, he was going to win. The race was his." The journalist insisted again, "But you could have won!" Ivan looked at him and replied, "But what would be the merit of my victory? What would be the honor in that medal? What would my mother think of that?"
Values are passed on from generation to generation. What values are we teaching our children? Let us not teach our kids the wrong ways and means to win. Instead, let us pass on the beauty and humanity of a helping hand. Because honesty and ethics are winning!"

God loves you.
