To be honest, today, I did not feel like blogging, or doing much else. It is 9:23pm as I type this, and I had to push myself to even get my laptop out. I had to encourage myself.
I had to tell myself that God has instructed me to blog every day, and that I want to remain obedient to Him because I know that it is the right thing to do. It is what God requires. It is the only way that you can be in relationship with Him. I also know that God has a plan for me, and that through my obedience, people will be blessed in one way or another.
Then I reminded myself that I needed to stay consistent with what I have been doing, as it is part of my “God-routine”, through which I have experienced so much spiritual growth and a closer relationship with God, as a result of me sticking to it (consistency).
I then remembered that Pastor Stephanie Ike Okafor said the following about ‘consistency’:
“The Power of God flows from a place of consistency.”
“When you are consistent in something that is connected to the purpose of God, your consistency attracts the help of the Holy Spirit and the support of the Holy Spirit.”

I will tell you that I agree with both of Pastor Stephanie Ike Okafor’s quotes, for I have experienced the power of God and the help of the Holy Spirit continuously as I go about my days moving in the things of God/doing what He tells me to know and what I know to do that pleases Him.
So, as I encourage myself today, I want you to be encouraged.
If you are in a situation that seems as if it is never going to end, and you have no sign regarding how it is going to work itself out, or even when it is going to work out, I want you to meditate on the word (the promise/the vision) that God gave you. And then be reminded that God is a promise-keeper and that He wants us to remain steadfast while we wait.
God Loves you! Don’t give up.
Love and peace,
Yolanda Billingslea (Ms. B)

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for as much as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
