We have to learn to train our mind to think about positive things.
Think about all the times when God showed up for you in a mighty way. Think about all your blessings, both past and present.
Think about those things instead of thinking about things that will cause you stress / things that you have no control over.
Whenever such thoughts enter your mind, quickly shift your thoughts to things that bring you peace. I am working on doing this myself.
Regarding the things / situations that we have no control over, pray about it. Talk to God about it and put it in His hands.
Train your mind to dismiss negative and stressful thoughts as soon as you realize that they have become what you are thinking about. Think about the things that give you peace.
Doing this will give you a healthy mind.
