There was a time in my life that ever so often, I would pray and ask God to remove out of my life, persons who was not for me, and eventually, God would do it. There were times when I was surprised by relationships that suddenly ended, but then I would recall what I had asked God to do in prayer.
Meanwhile, I had not prayed that prayer in a very long time. But what I know about God is, He will always protect His children and do what is best for them, and in doing that, He will, without being asked, expose those persons in your life who secretly do not really like you and who do not mean you well, and He will remove them out your life, by any means necessary. This can sometimes result in painful and shocking revelations and abrupt relationship endings.
Sometimes, there are people in our lives, close friends and family members and others, who we believe care about us and love us, based on their actions and words. However, God knows everyone’s hearts and thoughts, and He is privy to conversations that people have about us that we will never know about. And I don’t know about you, but I trust every decision that God makes for my life.
Recently (in December 2023), God exposed the heart, mind, spirit, and character of every single person in my life and showed me that all of them are my enemies (excluding my mother, grandmother, and perhaps one other individual), and He removed them from my life. God did this because He knew that none of them belonged in this season/chapter in my life, where He would fulfill the promises that He made to me. God knew that I had a bunch of haters around me/in my life and He knew that I was not aware of this, and God also knew that I really cared for them.
I will say that I suffered some pain and trauma from finding out how the people in my life, who were near and dear to my heart, really felt about me (family members included), to the extent that they wanted me hurt and killed. But through all of the pain, I thanked God for exposing them and removing them out of my life. God knows what is best for me (and you).
One thing I know for certain is that God is going to make sure that good people with good character and good hearts and who have my best interest at heart, enter my life, and I am looking so forward to it. Yes... I am looking so forward to new friends and real love and my new life. God says that my future is bright! Amen.
Trust God for every decision that He makes in your life.
Be encouraged. God loves you,
Love and Peace,
Yolanda Billingslea (Ms. B)
